Banff 50th Anniversary World Tour — North Bend (Return Engagement)
Due to overwhelming interest, the Banff Mountain Film Festival World Tour returns to North Bend with two completely new programs, different from those shown during our Premier Weekend.
These films were released after the initial North Bend screenings, making this a rare chance to experience brand-new selections during the 50th Anniversary of Banff—all at the intimate North Bend Theatre.
Program A features Old Man Lightning, winner of the 2025 Best Film: Climbing award—an unforgettable mix of climbing, comedy, comeback, and conservation—plus Robson, following two elite ski mountaineers attempting a daring first descent of Mount Robson’s South Face.
Program B includes Best Day Ever, winner of the 2025 Best Film: Mountain Sports and Audience Choice awards, alongside A Baffin Vacation: Love on Ice, a 69-day human-powered adventure along Baffin Island’s remote coastline.
